La Casona is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my recent trip to Foz do Iguaçu, and what a delightful journey it was! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality encapsulated by Osmar was palpable; he truly cares for his guests. Our late arrival due to flight delays didn't seem to faze him at all-he welcomed us warmly and even whipped up an early breakfast for our departure, a gesture that speaks volumes about his commitment. The spacious air-conditioned room with a lovely garden view was a perfect retreat after a day exploring the nearby wonders like Iguaçu National Park and the breathtaking Garganta del Diablo-both within a short drive! And let me tell you, the breakfast featuring warm medialunas was nothing short of exceptional, fueling our adventurous spirits for the day ahead. Clean, cozy, and welcoming, La Casona really made me feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a serene base to explore these natural marvels!
